Andrew college’s main campus features a full service dining hall, a swimming pool, tennis courts, an updated student center, an on-campus library and three residence halls. The campus also houses a soccer field, and as baseball field that hosts the school’s baseball team. In addition to the outdoor athletic facilities offered, students also have access to newly remodeled Jinks Physical Education Complex with brand new racquetball courts and a state of the art weight room.
Andrew College also emphasizes the education of their younger students, specifically the freshmen and the sophomores. The college is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools or the SACS. This allows the school to give out associate degrees. Andrew College also gives out Associate of Arts or AA degrees, Associate of Music or AM degrees , and Associate of Science or AS degrees. Students can aso choose from more than 50 areas of academic study.
In 1917, Andrew became a junior college and in 1959, the institution became co-educational. There is an approximate an average of just over 300 students, almost all of whom live on campus. They students of the school are almost evenly divided between male and female. There are students from about ten states and ten countries.
The school competes in several sports including baseball, basketball, volleyball, fast pitch softball, golf and soccer. The school colors are white and blue and the school nickname are the Fighting Tigers.
